~Reader's POV~

I layed there in bed like I have done for the past 4 hours. I was ill, sick. Shivering, I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable but I couldn't. My head felt like it was on fire and my throat was dry and burned. Growling, my stomach rumbled from being empty. Ratchet had said not to eat anything, it'll only make the sickness worse but I should drink lots of fluids. I had accumulated a pile of about 7 or 8 empty water bottles throughout the past 4 hours. Groaning, I continued trying to get comfortable until I felt a sharp pain in my stomach that cause me to gasp and moan out in agony. I leaned over the side of my bed and emptied the remaining few contents of my stomach into the bucket I'd been given. Afterwards, I heard a small knock on the door.

"Come in," I croaked with as much effort as I could muster up. The door opened slowly to reveal Ratchet, well his holoform anyways. I sighed and just watched him walk towards me with a bag that probably contained his medical equipment.

"I came to check up on you. Check you temperature, check your vitals, stuff that like that," He explained, staying calm and collected as he searched through his bag for what he needed. I nodded in understanding and he pulled his thermometer out of the bag. He put it in my mouth underneath my tongue and timed it on his watch. When it was finished getting my temperature, he pulled it out and shook his head.

"You've still got a high temperature, probably a fever. Have you had any headaches at all today?" He asked.

"No," I simply responded looking up at his face, into his bright blue eyes that were similar to his bright blue optics he'd usually have. He was quite good looking in his holoform, much like his ordinary Cybertronian form. A small blush and a smile crept onto my face and decided to make themselves known to both me and Ratchet.

"Hello? Earth to F/N?" He said, waving his hand and clicking his fingers in front of my face. I shook my head and snapped out of my daze continuing to pay attention to him and him.

"How much water have you drank since I last came in 2 hours ago?" He asked, concerned about me. I gestured towards the pile of water bottles.

"About 3, roughly, in the past 2 hours," I forced an apologetic smile onto my face and looked up at his face. He shook his head and didn't look pleased.

"F/N, you need to drink more fluid than that otherwise you won't feel any better," He sighed. I dropped my head and looked to the floor.

"Sorry Ratchet," I mumbled. He must've heard because he slowly lifted my head up, hand on my chin and smiled softly at me.

"It's fine F/N. Just remember that if you don't drink more fluids, you'll be I'll for longer and then you'll miss out on more mission," He gave me a smile before pressing a soft, sweet kiss to my boiling forehead and leaving my room. Thanks Ratchet, always love having you here.
